25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Tatiana Bickham and Dawn Dowling conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection for a large family childcare at the above facility on 10/24/2024 at 9:05 AM. LPAs met with Applicant Alla Skrypnyk and applicant’s son, who guided LPAs on a tour of the facility. Applicants’ son translated for the applicant, applicants’ primary language is Russian. There were no children present when LPAs arrived. Per Applicant, hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Applicant states they will provide care for children 0 weeks to 7 years of age.
This is a single home consisting of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, office, kitchen, living room, attached garage, front yard and backyard. The home was inspected for safety, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children.
Areas used by children include: Living room, kitchen, office (napping room), bedroom #1 (napping room), bathroom #1 adjacent from the office, attached garage (playroom), and part of the backyard. Areas off limits include: Master bedroom and ensuite bathroom and bedroom #3 (adjacent from master bedroom), laundry room, front yard and part of the backyard (separated by gate). Off limit areas are made inaccessible by door lock. Knives and other sharp utensils are locked in a kitchen drawers. Cleaning products are made inaccessible by a lock. Applicant was informed no eating or napping is allowed in the converted garage.
The home is clean and orderly, there are outlet covers throughout the home. Smoke/carbon monoxide detector was observed, tested, and found to be operable.
Applicant has completed the required health and safety training, the Pediatric First Aid and CPR. Applicant has proof of immunization against pertussis and measles, and declination letters for influenza on file. Proof Page 1. |
