The center has addressed this concern by replacing the existing fence with a higher one to prevent wildlife, including coyotes, from entering the premises. This corrective action was taken proactively to enhance safety for children and staff. allegation moldy couch in Tulip Room, the center acknowledged the couch from the Tulip Room was removed not due to mold but due to black paint. allegation commingling of 2- and 3-Year-Olds, while the 2 and 3 year old children are assigned to separate classrooms, the center has clarified that they may commingle at times, which is permitted under licensing regulations. Supervision and ratio requirements are maintained during these periods. allegation children waiting outside in the rain for pickup, the center denies the allegation that half-day children are made to wait outside in the rain. Interviews conducted with parents did not corroborate this concern. The center reported that children may go outdoors during light drizzle if weather permits, as part of their regular outdoor play schedule. allegation unsafe parking conditions, the Department does not have jurisdiction over external parking lot conditions. However, the LPA did observe a designated parking area available for the child care center. The center may be encouraged to consult with property management or owners to address any safety concerns related to the parking lot.
