On November 30, 2023, at 10:49 A.M., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joselito L. Del Mundo conducted an unannounced complaint inspection at the facility to deliver findings for the above allegation. LPA Del Mundo met with director Aimee Ward who granted access to the facility. LPA toured the facility and observed 11 children and 2 staff providing care and supervision.
During the investigation, LPA gathered information, conducted confidential interviews, and obtained documentation on the complaint allegations. Based on the interviews conducted and reports gathered, the Hand, Foot, and Mouth (HFMD) outbreak originated in the LPA infant room. The onset of the hand, foot, and mouth outbreak could not be determined if it was the staff members or children who spread the illness from one classroom to another classroom. Infants from the infant classroom had siblings attending the two’s classroom (ages 2 to 3 years old).
