32 | Bathroom: LPA observed bathroom #1 (adjacent to kitchen area) utilized for older preschool children and bathroom #2 (adjacent to back right door from entrance door) utilized for the younger preschool children. LPA observed for safe and sanitary operating condition with no hazardous materials. Toilet paper, paper towels, and soap were available to children.
Kitchen: The kitchen (located in the back left, adjacent to childcare bathroom #1) was observed for safety, sanitation, and good repair. Kitchen consists of refrigerator/freezer, sink, food preparation counters and pantries. Knives and sharp items are stored in high upper cabinet, out of reach of children. The facility provides meals during all operation hours. Menus were observed. Children are provided with water in jugs both indoors and outdoors and use disposable cups.
Outdoor/Children’s Play Area: LPA inspected the outdoor play space for safety, cleanliness, good repair, age-appropriate toys/equipment, cushioned floors, and shady areas. The outdoor play area is separated into two spaces by fencing and gates; the left side for older preschool children and the right side for younger preschool-children. The outdoor play area is enclosed with fencing. LPA observed play structures with cushioned flooring for safe falls. LPA observed shaded areas.
Pools/Spa/Bodies of Water: Per LPA observation, there are no pools, spas, or bodies of water on the premises.
File Review: LPA reviewed four children files which included all required information. LPA reviewed Director’s file, Administrator’s file, and three staff files which included all required information. LPA reviewed the educational records of all staff present to verify that facility was within ratio requirements. Director CPR/FA expires on 07/2026 and Mandated Reporter training expires on 09/2027.
Postings: LPA observed required postings as follows: Facility License, Personal Rights (LIC613A), Parent’s Rights Poster, Passenger Car Seat Law (PUB 269), and Emergency Disaster Plan.
Other: Per Administrator, smoking is prohibited on the premises. Per Administrator, there are no firearms/weapons stored on premises. Per recorded documentation, Disaster drills last completed on 06/2025. Per record review, last lead testing conducted on 10/2022. |
