25 | On Friday, September 19, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hanna Cha met with licensee Maria Suarez. The purpose of the visit was to conduct an unannounced Annual/Random inspection of the facility. Upon arrival, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection to the licensee. LPA and licensee toured the facility. LPA observed licensee providing care and supervision to two preschool-aged children. The current days and hours of operation are Mondays through Fridays 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Physical Plant/Indoor/Children’s Area: This is a one-story family home. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, two restrooms, a converted garage with permit, and a backyard. Main care is provided in the converted garage with permit referred to as the childcare area. The off-limit areas are bedrooms #1, #2, #3 and restroom #2. LPA inspected the indoor/children’s area for safety, cleanliness and good repair. LPA observed age-appropriate toys and play equipment, a working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector. The fire extinguisher was observed, fully green. There is a designated area for the ill children as necessary. Per LPA observation, electric fireplace in living room. LPA observed glass enclosure covering electric fireplace.
Bathroom: The childcare restroom #1 located (between kitchen and childcare area.) was observed to be in safe and operating condition. Toilet and faucet are in good operable condition. LPA reminded licensee to keep shampoos, mouthwash, razors, toothpaste, and other hazardous items inaccessible to children.
