Physical Plant - Fire Alarm system is malfunctioning

On 8/30/2022 at 9:47 am Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Deborah Lowe and Antonio Almanza conducted an unannounced visit, LPAs Lowe and Almanza met with Administrator, Gabrielle Hovey and Director, Magaly Zuniga. The purpose of this visit is to conclude an investigation regarding the above allegation.

LPAs toured the facility and observed no children in care.

Based on the investigation which included a site visit on 8/17/2022, interviews with staff, Fire Inspectors, Fire Alarm Company, a review of Fire Alarm Testing Reports, and additional documents collected were consistent in the establishing the fire alarm panel is showing with the trouble light blinking; however, the fire alarm system is currently in working order, the allegation is unsubstantiated.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
