32 | The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children.
The knives are stored in upper kitchen cabinet in tupperware, medications (upper kitchen cabinet), cleaning supplies (upper kitchen cabinet) and chemicals are kept inaccessible to children in care.
The front yard is utilized for outdoor activities. The front yard is fully enclosed and has matting, artificial grass and cement for outdoor play. LPA observed swings and outdoor play equipment in appropriate condition.
There are educational age-appropriate toys and equipment on the premises.
The First Aid kit with a temperature thermometer was observed and complete. The required fire extinguisher (3A40BC) is reading in green (serviced once a year). Smoke and carbon monoxide detector dual is operating condition according to the Fire Marshal standards. Fire and disaster drills are conducted every six-month. Last drill documented was on 06/17/2025.
Licensee had all the required posted documents: Facility License (LIC 203, Notice of Parent's Rights Poster (PUB 394), Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610A), and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist (LIC 9148).
The licensee maintains proof of immunization against pertussis (TDAP), measles (MMR), Tuberculous (TB) and written statement opt out of influenza.
CPR/First aid expires on 11/16/2026 for both licensee's. Mandated reporter training expires on 10/09/2027 for licensee Morena Barrera. Licensee Morena did not have licensee Ingrid Peraza proof of mandated reporter training. Licensee will send proof of mandated reporter training for Ingrid no later than 11/05/25.
