25 | On 10/23/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cristina Castellanos conducted an unannounced case management inspection at the above-mentioned address for the purpose of ensuring the standards are being met in accordance with California Tittle 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes.
Upon arrival LPA was greeted by Licensee Natasha Finister and discussed the purpose of the visit. Shortly after Licensee’s assistant C. Phillips Woodall arrived at the home. During today’s inspection there were seven (7) children, two (2) assistants and Licensee Finister providing care and supervision.
Previously on 03/25/2024 LPA Castellanos had conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA Castellanos spoke to Licensee Finister regarding all the items that did not belong in the backyard and the importance of them being removed. Additionally, LPA Castellanos spoke to Licensee Finister concerning the dual open face heater in the living room not being screened/barricaded.
Based on today’s observation, all noncorresponding items in the backyard have been cleared/removed. The back yard is clean, orderly, and ready for the children in care to access. Additionally, LPA Castellanos observed the dual open face heater in the living room to be barricaded with a custom frame. Licensee Finister is complying with the requirements in accordance with California Tittle 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes.
An exit interview was conducted, and report reviewed with Licensee Finister. A copy of this report was provided to Licensee. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
