25 | On 3/24/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Suzette Ornelas conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection. LPA was met by Facility Representative, POPESCU,TATYANA who guided LPA on a tour of the home. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30a-5p.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. LPA observed 3 infant day care children and 3 adults. Capacity as specified on the license is being maintained.
Licensee was present with 3 children (3 infants) and one assistant. All areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. The following areas are designated as follows and Licensee confirmed the the den/family room, 2 of the bedrooms. Outdoor play of children is conducted in the backyard which is well fenced and was well maintained. Children in care have access to the bathroom located between the two bedrooms on limit to the children in care. The following off-limit areas; master bedroom, master bathroom, the kitchen, office room and laundry area and the detached garage. Per licensee, the detached garage is only for parking and storage, no children were observed in this area during this inspection and no children have access to this area. There are no bodies of water in the facility. Licensee reports she has no firearms or weapons in the home.
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. The First Aid Kit was observed and complete. Per LIS the facility annual fees are current. The facility roster was observed, and current. There are age appropriate toys and napping equipment on the premises. The required fire extinguisher (2A-10BC) was serviced on 3/4/2025. Licensee will provide LPA with proof of completion via email. Carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors are in operable condition and tested by licensee. Facility provides daily meals for the children. Licensee has posted as required the License, and all other required postings in a visible location. Per licensee, bedroom 1 will be used as the isolation area. Home does have a fireplace which has been screened and is located in the off limits living room. |
