Director states that per parents, parents want their children to be swaddled, however, per licensing swaddling is not allowed and staff were informed not to swaddle.
Staff #1 and Staff #2 disclosed both verbally and in written statements that Child #1 was swaddled while in care.
Based on the investigation conducted by the Department which includes interviews, observations, record reviews, and other pertinent information and documents, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 Chapter 1 101429(a)(1) Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision for Infants is being cited on the attached deficiencies
The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
