25 | On February 6, 2026, at approximately 1:30pm, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Melissa Zaragoza and DeCondia Fuerguson conducted an unannounced plan of correction (POC) visit. LPA met with licensee, Juana Villalta, and explained the purpose of the visit. Present during today's visit included licensee, staff assistant, 4 children ( 3 preschool and 1 infant).
On January 12, 2026, at approximately 9:30am, LPA Zaragoza conducted an unannounced, annual inspection. During annual inspection, licensee was issued one Type B citation for missing a water alarm detector in the pool. A Plan of Correction (POC) was discussed with the licensee and LPA went over pool safety requirements under assembly bill (AB) 2866. LPA observed all other pool safety requirements and found them to be met except having a pool cover or water entrance alarm.
As of this date, LPA observed licensee to have a water alarm detector meeting ASTM standard to be installed in the pool. During visit LPA tested water alarm which was observed to be working. LPA also observed other required pool safety requirements. LPA observed the pool inspection log to be documented with today’s date on it.
LPA confirmed licensee to be operating following the pool safety regulations, under assembly bill (AB) 2866.
Deficiencies cited on January 12, 2026, have been cleared during today's visit. LPA provided licensee with POC clearance letter. No deficiencies were cited today.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Appeal Rights were provided.
