On 8/8/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Devon Carus conducted a complaint subsequent visit regarding the above-mentioned allegations to deliver the findings. Upon arrival, LPA met with Celeste Perez, Assistant Director. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection. LPA toured the facility and observed 17 children & 5 staff.

On 6/5/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Devon Carus conducted a complaint initial visit regarding the above-mentioned allegations. LPA met with Sarah Hawkins, Director. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection. LPA toured the facility indoors and outdoors. LPA Carus conducted an interview with the Administrator/ Director, and 7 staff. LPA requested a copy of the facility roster, staff roster, and camera footage of specific dates and times pertinent to the allegations.

On 7/11/2025, 7/15/2025, and 7/18/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Devon Carus conducted additional interviews that included parents of children enrolled at the preschool.

Based on observations, interviews and evidence received during the investigation, the allegations are unsubstantiated. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the above alleged violations did or did not occur.

Exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report was provided. Appeal rights were reviewed and provided.
