25 | On Friday, March 6, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Evelyn Garcia conducted an unannounced annual inspection and met with licensee, who gave LPA Garcia a tour of the facility. There were 11 children (2 infants, ) in care during the inspection. Operating hours are Monday-Friday, 7am- 6:00pm. Residing in the home are licensee, licensees spouse. All adults have been fingerprinted and cleared. This facility is a single-story home that consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, office, kitchen, living area, dining room, fireplace, detached garage, front yard and backyard fenced. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises.
Areas off limits to children include- 1 bedroom (left), bathroom ( hallway), kitchen, living room, dining room, garage, office and front yard.
Areas on limits for the children include, main daycare room (rear of home), bedroom next to daycare room (infants), bathroom (daycare room), back yard fenced.
LPA Garcia inspected the facility for safety, comfort, cleanliness, ventilation and working phone (cell phone and landline). For ventilation, LPA Garcia observed central A/C unit and observed vents on the ceiling of the home. LPA observed the furniture, children’s materials, to be in good condition and age appropriate. LPA observed the children to have storage space to place belongings and utilize cots for nap time. Licensee stated naptime takes place in the main daycare area (back bedroom) of the home.
LPA Garcia observed cleaning compounds stored in the laundry room closet and placed on a high shelf making it inaccessible to the children. Knives are stored in a high kitchen shelf making it inaccessible to the children. For drinking water, licensee stated she provides bottled water and filtered water and takes pitchers of filtered water to the main daycare room. Licensee provides individual cups for drinking water. Licensee currently participates in a food program.
