25 | On 9/06/2022 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Isabel Ortega conducted an unannounced annual random inspection. The LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry by Licensee who guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. Upon entry to the facility the LPA observed 6 children in care.
This is a two-story single-family home. There is a living room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, two restrooms, family room, an attached garage and a pool in the back yard. Main care is provided in the living room, and the family room, referred to as the day care area. The restroom utilized by day are children is to the left from the entrance of the home. The off-limits areas the entire second floor(child safety gate observed), 4 bedrooms and one restroom. attached garage (maintained locked). Children temporarily are not utilizes the back yard for outdoor play. The back yard is fenced all around. The operational child care hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. Cleaning supplies, chemicals and vitamins are inaccessible to children in care. The pool in the back yard does not meet Title 22 regulations (gate is not self latching). |
