On 07/17/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrew Alemoh met with Director Rubi Trejo for the purpose to deliver the finding of the above allegations. Upon arrival, LPA observed 17 children and 5 staff along with the Director on site. The investigation consisted of interviews with Director, staff, parents, and other complaint relevant parties. The investigation revealed the following: children and staff ratios are being met by having at least three staff/teachers in the classroom at all times, as well as the needs and service plans for the daycare children are being met.

The facility provided documentation regarding the daycare children needs and service plan along with the timesheet schedules from Sproutabout regarding children's feeding time, diaper changes, and nap times. The schedule of the needs and service plan of the children are in correlation of the Sproutabout timesheets. Director, staff, and parent’s statements corroborated with evidence in that during pickup and or drop off times there are at least three staff memebers in the classroom, along with needs and service plan for the children are being met.

Per directors statements overtime is provided to staff/teachers if they wish to partake in overtime. Based on the evidence obtained, the allegation of: Ratio and Personal Rights is unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violations did or did not occur.

An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report was provided along with the appeal rights.
