25 | On 9/15/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Wheatley conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction inspection. The purpose of the inspection was to verify the licensee is operating within Title 22 Regulations based on the deficiency cited on 8/15/22 for Staff-Infant-Ratio.
Upon arrival, LPA observed 11 infants total (4 in the activity area, 4 in the napping room and 3 outside). The infants were supervised by staff within proper ratios. The licensee is cleared for operating out of compliance for Staff-Infant Ratio. However LPA Wheatley observed an infant Child #1 asleep in the crib while being swaddled. According to the administrator Nassim Agange, she thought it was fine for the child to sleep in the clothing because the child is under one year's old and does not move while napping/sleeping. LPA contacted LPM Karren Starks to discuss the matter and sent photos of the child. Based on LPM's observance, the child is being swaddled and this is a Title 22 Regulation violation.
See LIC 809D- for deficiency.
