25 | On 3/29/2023 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA), Loyce Phillips conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection and was met by Licensee, Sasha Loveless. LPA observed 10 children in care with 2 staff. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm.
LPA toured the home inside and outside. This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with living room, kitchen, family room, bonus room and attached garage.
The areas that are accessible to children: Living room, kitchen, family room, bonus room, bathroom #1 and #2. The back yard and front yard are available for outdoor play.
The area that is off limits to children: Bedrooms #1, #2, #3. The rooms are made inaccessible by locked doors.
No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible to children. There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition stored on the premises.
There is a full charged fire extinguisher located in the kitchen. The facility has a working smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detector, inside the home. The facility has adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. There are no stairs in the home. Safe toys and play equipment are observed. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number is (310) 567-3763.
Licensee ensures that children in care are supervised at all times and is aware children shall not be left in parked vehicles. Capacity as specified on the license is being maintained.
Licensee’s pediatric CPR/First Aid expires on 12/29/2024.
