32 | Interviews with staff informed LPA Calderon they have not observed any bullying occurred among the children and staff, have not witnessed staff verbally bullying children, and do not tolerate bullying if it was to occur. LPA Calderon interviewed an after school teacher who informed LPA that they haven’t had any incidents occur regarding bullying and hasn’t witnessed staff bullying children. Six (6) parents informed LPA that they feel that the school is safe and haven’t had any issues regarding bullying incidents towards their child and has witnessed and/ or not aware of bullying occurring at the facility. Parent #8 informed LPA the school informs the parents on things that are going on with their child and that the school is very supportive.
Regarding injury incidents, (2) staff informed LPA the school uses Ouchy Reports to provide to the parents when a child gets hurt.
LPA Calderon reviewed Ouchy Reports for the month of May 2024, LPA received no corroborated disclosures pertaining the allegation.
LPA reviewed Student/Parent Handbook and Admission Agreement, there is no documentation stating how the school will communicate with parents regarding incidents involving their child.
During LPA Calderon's observations at the school observed all staff supervising children, assisting children and caring for children.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the Director Linda White.
