| Regarding the allegation that the teacher pinched child's nipple. (6) of (6) staff denied the allegation. Staff indicated they have a caring relationship with the children. Staff indicated not hearing or witnessing an incident of a child being pinched. (4) of (5) children did not report being physically hurt by staff. (4) of (4) parents denied the allegation. Parents indicated not hearing or witnessing a child being pinched.
During today's visit LPA observed (20) children playing outside and being supervised by (3) teachers and (1) aid.
The investigation revealed the following that based on interviews with staff, children, and parents there was no evidence to indicate that a teacher had pinched a child’s nipple.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30consecutive days . Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
Exit interview conducted and a copy of the report and appeal rights were provided to the Administrator Linda. No deficiencies cited.
