Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Doris Whitmore met with licensee, Chrisitina Tinzly -Williams, who guided analyst on a tour of the home for an Unannounced Inspection. Hours of operation are 6am to 6pm Monday through Friday. Upon arrival LPA observed a total of 11 children in care. There was one Assistant and the Licensee. This is a 1 story 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with kitchen, living room, and attached garage. The garage is used for daycare activities, no napping is conducted in the garage. Napping only takes place in the living room. There is no pool, spa or other bodies of water on the premises. Children are provided with Breakfast, AM Snack and PM Snack.

Main care is provided in the living room and two bedrooms in the rear of the home. Off limit areas include the home's one bedroom and backyard. Age appropriate toys were observed and inspected for play, toys found in good repair, no loose or sharp parts. Children's restroom was inspected. All cabinets were checked for safety. Children have no access to the kitchen area (gates observed). The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds (under kitchen sink with latch), and hazardous items (sharp knives in top cabinet) that can pose a danger to children. Facility roster complete and maintained current. The kitchen has a gate and is inaccessible to children. The kitchen area was inspected for proper storage of chemicals, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications and sharp pointed objects. LPA inspected bedrooms for safety. Children do not use the backyard. Licensee has one medium size dog in the backyard. Backyard is fenced for safety. LPA observed backyard maintained, and no miscellaneous debris in backyard.LPA reviewed a total of 10 children files were complete with all required CCLD forms. Licensee was able to share with LPA the App where teaching staff can document the infants sleeping every fifteen minutes. Licensee gave an overview of How the APP is use? LPA reviewed staff files all files had required documentation. The facility roster was up to date and all staff have been fingerprinted and associated to the designated license number. Director and teachers are currently certified in pediatric first aid and CPR which expires on 7/7/24.

All Staff were current with their Mandated and Reporter Training 7/7/22 and is good for two years. LPA reminded the Licensee as well as anyone who assists in providing care. Licensee was advised to train the backup up in the event she is absent on how to access quarterly reports, forms, and regulations for Child Care online at www.ccld.ca.gov. Licensee was also encouraged to read the Child Care quarterly updates every season as the come out to stay informed of any changes or updates to the regulations.

Per licensee, there are no weapons or firearms of any kind in the facility at this time. The LPA did not observe any weapons. he required fire extinguisher (2A10BC) and smoke detectors are in operable condition. The home has a Carbon Monoxide detector. Home does not have central AC but has heat. Licensee has posted as required the, Emergency Disaster plan and Parents Rights Poster, Earthquake Preparedness License. LPA, Notification of Parents Rights.



Mandated Reporter: Beginning on January 1, 2018, AB 1207, requires all licensed providers, applicants, directors and employees to complete General and Child Care Mandated Reporter training as specified on their mandated reporter duties and to renew their training every two years. Volunteers are encouraged but not required to take the training. The OCAP modules are free of cost and available at: http://www.mandatedreporterca.com/

Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Family Child Care Homes Section 102417. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. The following information regarding ADA was provided: US Department of Justice (USDOJ) toll-free ADA Information Line at (800) 514-0301 (voice)/ (800) 514-0383 (TTY) and


LPA shared the following information with the Licensee Sleep Plan and shared LIC 9227 9227, Pin 20-04, LIC 311D Forms/ Records to Keep in Family Home Child Care.

The facility was operating in substantial compliance during this inspection on 07/14/2022. There were no Title 22 Deficiencies cited. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report (LIC 809), Notice of Site Visit, along with appeal rights were given to the Licensee Christina Tinzly- Williams whose signature confirms today's inspection and report.
