On 2/7/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Suzette Ornelas conducted an unannounced visit for the purpose of delivering the findings for the above-mentioned allegation. LPA Ornelas met with MKHITARYAN, MARIYETTA, Licensee. LPA toured the facility and observed 8 children in care and 2 other adults.

On 1/17/2023 LPA Ornelas conducted an unannounced visit at the Facility. LPA observed the home, obtained children’s/staff roster, and conducted interviews.

During the course of the investigation, LPA Ornelas made observations, conducted interviews, conducted a file review, obtained and reviewed documents in regard to the above allegation. LPA Ornelas reviewed all evidence obtained which included a lease/rental agreement as well as an interview with the homeowner and there is no evidence to indicate the licensee does not reside in the home.

Based on the evidence obtained over the course of the investigation, LPA Ornelas was unable to corroborate that the Allegation, Licensee does not reside in the daycare home. Therefore, the allegation is determined Unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the allegation occurred.
