32 | Bathrooms: Each bathroom was inside the classroom with toilets and handwashing sinks that are functioning properly and appropriately aged. LPA did not observe any accessible hazards. There was soap, toilet paper, and paper towels readily available. The staff restrooms are in the outside hallway outside of the classroom. There were appropriate changing tables, diapers, wipes and storage.
Kitchen: There is a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, two freezers, microwave, toaster oven and sink. The kitchen was clean and there were no accessible hazards observed. The kitchen is used for the staff. The facility provides morning and afternoon snacks. Parents provide lunch for their children. The menus are posted inside the class on the inside door. There is a confidential allergy list posted inside each classroom and the kitchen. LPA observed an appropriate amount of food and snacks. The chemicals and cleaning supplies are kept separate from the food and are locked under the sink inside the kitchen. LPA observed 2% milk, inside the classroom refrigerators for the 3-4 year olds. Representative stated, they were not aware 1% milk was required.
Outside: Outdoor play equipment was inspected for health, safety, cushioning material, good repair and is age appropriate. LPA observed a large plastic play structure securely anchored in the ground with three slides, a canopy for shade, and sand as a cushioned surface. There is concrete and artificial grass area for active play. The playground was observed to be free of debris. Drinking water is available in the form of a portable water jug and labeled cups. Per representative, there are no bodies of water on the premises. LPA did not observe any bodies of water. There were bikes, an airplane seesaw anchored in the sand, a basketball hoop, and tables and benches for rest. The fencing is wrought iron, observed locked and is secure around the entire playground.
Other Review: Children and staff files were reviewed. Current Pediatric CPR/First Aid (expires: 3/2026). Transportation is not provided. Disaster Drills: Fire Drill was conducted: 6/12/25 Earthquake drill was conducted: 3/19/25. The Child/Parent Roster was complete with all required information. Fire inspection was conducted 1/27/25. The Staff/Child ratios were observed to be compliant; the sign in/out sheets were digital/electronic on the Procare APP. Per representative, the children are inspected for illnesses as they arrive. There is a separate area for isolation and care of ill children in the site supervisor's office until the parent can pick up the child. Per representative, there are only Ephedrine pens stored in the office, locked.
