13 | On Friday, November 8, 2024, at 9:30 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Mayra Rivera conducted an unannounced complaint inspection. Upon LPA Rivera arrival, LPA observed 51 preschool children with staff #1, staff #2, staff #3, staff #4, staff #5 and staff #6 providing care and supervision. LPA met with director Angie Bustamante who guided LPA Rivera on a tour of the facility.
During the course of this investigation, LPA Mayra Rivera, conducted confidential interviews with staff, parents, reviewed relevant information, text messages and video. Majority of parents stated they have no concerns with the quality of care provided at Tutor time. During the interviews with staff all stated they were not aware of child 1 (C1) having any medical condition. Interview with C1 parent (P1) stated, wasn’t aware of C1 having any medical condition. During a text conversation dated 4/12/24 between staff #1 and parent of C1 after the first incident stated, “child was good and didn't notice her hot or upset”. P1 replied with "yeah she didn't seem sick too when I took her, but she was hot. The other text conversation dated 4/12/24 between staff #2 and parent of C1 stated, “thank you for telling me she was really hot. I think it was the heat.”
