On 08/23/2023 at 2:39 p.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Doris Whitmore conducted an unannounced visit for the purpose of delivering findings for a complaint investigation regarding the allegation above. LPA spoke with Teresa Antonelli there were126 children and 48 staff at the time of the visit.

On 06/07/2023, LPA Whitmore initiated the complaint investigation and met with the Field Director Teresa Antonelli, LPA toured the facility indoors and outdoors, observing proper teacher child ratios with a total of ninety children and fourteen teachers. LPA visited all six Preschool Classrooms. LPA interviewed the Staff, Field Director, Health and Safety Director and Children. LPA obtained the Personnel Report, Roster, Sign in Sheets, Child Attendance Monthly, Child Attendance Daily, Early Return Certification, Exclusion Chart, Illness Alert Letter, 2023 Annual Health and Safety Training and Letter to Parents, and Menus.
The Department conducted a full investigation, which included staff interviews and interviews with relevant parties, as well as a record review, including documentation as related to the allegation. LPA did not observe, nor was information provided via interviews that provided sufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation of staff did not ensuring the safety of food provided to children in care.
