25 | On Thursday, January 8, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hanna Cha met with Licensee Alma Lopez. The purpose of the visit was to conduct an unannounced Annual/Random inspection of the facility. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection to the licensee. LPA observed licensee and one assistant providing care and supervision to two infants, two preschool-aged children, and two school-aged children. The current hours and days of operation are Mondays through Fridays from 6:00am-6:00pm.
Physical Plant: This is a one-story family home. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, four bedrooms, three restrooms, family room, and back yard. Main care is provided in the family room. The off-limit areas are the four bedrooms, two restrooms, the kitchen, living room, and dining room.
Indoor/Children’s Area: The child care area is accessed from the side gate. LPA inspected the indoor/children’s area for safety, cleanliness and good repair. Licensee provides children with cribs and cots for napping. The smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector tested to be in operable condition. There is a designated area for the ill children as necessary. Per licensee, there are no firearms/weapons on the premises. LPA observed First Aid Kit on premises. Per Licensee, there is no smoking in the home. LPA observed a fire extinguisher (2A10BC).
Bathroom: LPA observed the childcare bathroom. The children are provided with soap and towels. The toilet and faucet are in good operable condition. LPA reminded licensee to keep all hazardous items inaccessible to children.
Kitchen: LPA inspected the kitchen for safety, sanitation, and good repair. Licensee participates in the food program and provides all meals during operational hours. The kitchen made inaccessible with a child safety gate.
