On 3/6/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Suzette Ornelas conducted an unannounced follow up complaint inspection for the purpose of delivering the findings for the above-mentioned allegation. Upon arrival, LPA was greeted and let into the facility by Lead Teacher, Vanessa Rodriguez to whom the reason for the inspection was announced. LPA toured the facility and observed 10 daycare children and 3 staff.

During the course of the investigation, LPA Ornelas made observations, obtained documentation in the form of children’s roster and conducted sign in/out sheets.

-Pertaining to the allegation that - Staff commingled day care children
According to the RP, a preschool child was placed in the infant classroom.

According to witnesses interviewed during the course of the investigation, children from the preschool and infants are commingled mostly upon pick up when there are a few children left.

Based on the information obtained through observations and interviews, the allegation is substantiated. A substantiated finding means that the complaint is substantiated and the allegation is valid because the preponderance of the evidence standard has been met. See deficiency page (LIC9099-D).

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Lead Teacher, Vanessa Rodriguez.
