32 | Assistant Director disclosed that care and supervision has been addressed with staff and continues to ensure care and supervision regulations guidelines are being followed. Assistant Director stated that at no time has staff been observed handling children in a rough manner. Assistant Director disclosed that there are children who have additional resources provided in the classroom. In order to respect the privacy of all children in care, disclosures about children in care are not provided to individuals that are not staff. At no time has the Assistant Director observe children in care be yelled at. Assistant Director stated that at certain times of the day, the classroom may appear louder than other times depending on the activities in the classroom. Assistant Director also stated that staff have been trained to allow children who nap to wake up at their own time.
During interviews with staff, no disclosures were made to support the allegations.
During interviews with parents, 5 of 5 parents made no disclosures to support the allegations. Parents stated that there are no concerns or complaints regarding the care their child has received.
LPA conducted an observation of children in care and did not observe evidence to support the allegations.
Based on the investigation conducted by the LPA, it has been determined that although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated.
The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
A copy of this report, appeal rights, and Notice of Site Visit was provided.
