25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Franchesca White arrived at the above facility for the purpose of an unannounced Annual Random inspection. LPA White announced the purpose of the visit and was granted entry to the facility by Licensee Tracie King. The hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday). The ages of the children served at this facility are 0 to 12 years of age. There are 9 children enrolled, and 1 child present at the time of inspection. The Parent Board was observed to have the following documents License, Personal Rights, Emergency Disaster Plan, Parents Rights, Earthquake Preparedness Plan. The Fire Drill log was available with the last drill conducted on 8/10/2025. The facility roster was available and was current. All adults in the home were discussed and have current criminal background clearance.
All life saving devices were inspected and operable at the time of inspection. The carbon monoxide detector is located in the kitchen. The smoke detector is located in the Main Care space,(Living Room). The 2A 10BC fire extinguisher is full charged, and located in the kitchen with a purchase receipt dated 8/28/2025. Licensee states that the couch area in the living room is used as a is used as an isolation for sick children waiting to be picked up by a parent or guardian. There is a working phone in the home. The number is current and on file with the department.
This is a single-story home which consists of two bedrooms and one bathroom, kitchen, and living room. Areas used by the children include the living room (located upon entry) and Bathroom 1 (located to the right of the home). Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include kitchen and rear area of the home containing all bedrooms. LPA observed that there is an operable baby gate separating areas used by children and off-limits area. LPA also observed bedroom doors to be locked at time of inspection.
All areas identified on the facility sketch as accessible to children were inspected to ensure that they are clean and orderly with ventilation and heating for the safety of the children. LPA observed ceiling fan and central and wall heater with barricade in rear off limits area of home.
