25 | On 3/18/2026, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Ranita Richmond conducted an unannounced Random / Annual Inspection for the above-named Child Care Center. Center is licensed for 30 preschool children, ages 2 years through entry into first grade. LPA met with licensee, Marrischia Davis. LPA Richmond toured the facility indoors and outdoors and observed 3 children in care, being supervised and cared for appropriately by licensee. Facility hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm.
Capacity and limitations as specified on the license are being maintained.
LPA Richmond advised licensee of the importance of sign in/sign out using the full first and last name of the parent/authorized representative and time of checking the child in and out daily.
There are no swimming pools, ponds, or other bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition allowed or stored on the premises. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
LPA Richmond observed 3 (three) fully charged 2A:10B:C fire extinguishers, two in the classroom and one in the kitchen. LPA Richmond observed smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are connected to a wired Fire Alarm system. The fire alarms and fire extinguishers last serviced in April 2025.
All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating condition. Floors in the facility are clean and safe. LPA inspected the classroom and observed age-appropriate toys, books and furnishings. Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards.
