| The licensee and assistant do have proof of immunizations against influenza, pertussis and measles.
LPA observed that licensee does have proof of the Mandated Reporter training and certificates on file. LPA informed Licensee and assistants must update Mandated Reporter certificates every two years.
All homes shall conduct fire and disaster drills at least ever once every six months and document the date for each drill. Licensee stated a fire/disaster drill was conducted on October 24, 2025, according to log.
LPA did observe a pet in the home. The pet is locked out of the room where children are during the operating hours.
LPA did observe a pool at the home. The pool is double fenced. The first fence surrounds the children’s outside play area. This pool is secured by a five-foot fence that is double locked. Licensee stated that the pool is four to seven feet deep, but it is off limits to children in care. The pool’s gate has an alarm on it. LPA did observe a water alarm. LPA did observe a 12-foot hook at the time of inspection. LPA issued a Technical Advisory for visibility of alarm and hook.
Emergency Disaster Plan, Parents Rights, and Facility License were observed to be posted.
Smoking is prohibited in a licensed family childcare home. Per licensee, no one smokes in the home.

Licensee [or facility representative] was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
