On 11/26 /2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Doris Whitmore initiated the complaint investigation and met with Keyla Romero, teacher. LPA toured the facility indoors and outdoors, observing proper teacher/child ratios with a total of 25 children and 9 teachers. LPA Whitmore conducted an observation of the entire facility, that includes the classrooms and the kitchen area. LPA interviewed the Staff and the children. LPA obtained a copy of the Facility Roster, Personnel Report, Class Jo Jo letter to parents, Sign in sheets for November 13, 2024, Daily Classroom & Exterior Review Checklist. The following documents will be emailed to LPA, the roster for EHS Class 01 & Work Order.
The Department conducted a full investigation, which included staff interviews, interviews with relevant parties and other agencies, as well as a record review which included documentation related to the allegations. LPA did not observe, nor was information provided via interviews that provided sufficient evidence to substantiate the allegations of Physical Plant - Staff does not ensure facility power is in good repair & Food Service Staff is serving improperly stored food to day care children. Therefore, the allegations are deemed unsubstantiated. Meaning although the allegations may have happened or are valid there is
