25 | On May 19, 2026, at approximately 12:30 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Janet Gil conducted a case management inspection and met with the director, Mercedes Diaz. The purpose of the inspection was explained to the director. The facility operates under a dual license.
Present during today’s visit for the preschool license were 5 staff members (including the director) and 8 enrolled preschool children. Present for the infant license were 3 staff members and 7 enrolled infant children. The facility was operating within its licensed capacity and in accordance with the required staff-to-child ratio. All adults working in the facility have criminal record clearances on file.
This case management inspection was conducted to follow up on the ongoing operation of the facility, including obtaining information regarding enrolled children in care, the food program, and the facility’s closure dates for this year. LPA Gil inspected the facility indoors and outdoors for health and safety hazards.
During this inspection, LPA Gil collected facility rosters for both licenses, sign-in and sign-out sheets for 5/19/2026, posted school closure dates, and April attendance sheets for six enrolled subsidized children.
No deficiencies were cited today under CCR, Title 22, Div. 12, Chapt. 1.
A copy of today’s report was given to the director, Mercedes Diaz.
A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
