25 | On 04/21/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cristina Castellanos conducted an announced case management inspection for the purpose of ensuring that the facility is meeting the standards set forth in California Title 22 Regulations and the California Health and Safety Code. LPA was greeted by Licensee Eliana Gallegos.
The licensee previously requested to place the facility on inactive status effective 03/01/2025, until further notice. The licensee is now requesting to be removed from inactive status effective 04/30/2026.
LPA conducted a walkthrough of the designated childcare areas. Per the licensee, the following areas are approved for daycare use: the living room, the bathroom, the kitchen/dining area, and the backyard. The licensee confirmed that families will enter the home through the main entrance door.
Per the licensee, the following areas are OFF LIMITS to children in care: all bedrooms in the home, the attached converted garage, the dog’s designated area (small side yard next to the home), and the one-bedroom unit located behind the home. LPA reminded the licensee that all OFF-LIMITS areas must remain inaccessible during operating hours and while children are present.
LPA observed a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and adequate heating and ventilation to ensure safety and comfort within the home. Additionally LPA observed age-appropriate materials both indoors and outdoors. The children’s designated bathroom was inspected and found to be in compliance.
No citations were issued during today’s inspection.
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report and the Notice of Site Visit were provided to Licensee Eliana Gallegos.
