The toddler outdoor measurements: 996.76 sq. ft., which will accommodate the current capacity.
Preschool toilets and sinks: 4 toilets and 5 sinks, that will accommodate the requested increase.
Toddlers toilets and sinks: 1 toilet and 1 sink, that will accommodate the current capacity. The toddler restroom is located on the left side of the Jack and Jill restroom between rooms 103 and 104, LPA observed a changing table within arms reach of a sink.
Room number 105 does not have an accessible restroom inside of the classroom, per licensee the children are escorted to use the right side of the restroom located in room 103. LPA highly recommends, since these are older children and to minimize distraction, and the risk of commingling, that these children be escorted to the outdoors restroom located outside of room 101 and 102.
LPA observed two concrete steps leading to the upper level of the preschool play yard, LPA is requesting a fence or barricade be placed at the top of the steps to prevent a hazardous condition prior to granting the increase.
Based on todays inspection the facility shall be recommended for an increase in their preschool's capacity, pending the approval of the outdoor waiver. The facility has an existing waiver for Title 22, section 101175 to group children during the hours of 7:30 - 8:30 A.M and 5:00 - 6:00 P.M.
