32 | According to Staff interviewed during the course of the investigation, staff stated that they are never out of ratio and that there is always a fully qualified teacher present supervising children and a qualified teacher is always available to step in.
According to Parents interviewed during the course of the investigation, they have never observed more than 12 children and at least 1 teacher present in the classroom.
-Pertaining to the allegation that – Staff do not follow protocols to prevent the spread of illness.
According to the RP, Every other week, every three four weeks there is an episode of some kind of infection problem, above the limit that you would expect at a school.
According to Staff interviewed during the course of the investigation, staff stated that they follow a cleaning process such as disinfecting and every classroom has their own cleaning supplies. Staff further stated that they make sure children was their hands especially before eating. Staff stated that general illness checks are conducted on the children.
According to Parents interviewed during the course of the investigation, they have no concerns regarding the protocols the facility follows to prevent the spread of illness. Parents stated that they have no concerns regarding the frequency that their children become ill. Parents further stated that they have no concern regarding the cleanliness of their children’s classroom.
Based on the evidence as documented above, the allegations have been determined to be Unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the allegation occurred.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
