25 | On 02/15/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cristina Castellanos conducted an unannounced case management inspection at the above-mentioned address for the purpose of ensuring the standards are being met in accordance with California Tittle 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes.
Upon arrival LPA met with licensee Xin Yan Zhou and discussed the purpose of the visit. LPA then toured the home both indoors and outdoors. During today’s inspection there were 12 children, an assistant (minor 16), and Licensee Zhou providing care and supervision.
LPA previously had conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 02/13/2024 and cited a deficiency on Title 22 regulation 102416.5(d) - "For a Large Family Child Care Home, the maximum number of children for whom care may be provided at any one time when there is an assistant provider.” Requirement at that time was not being met.
Based on observation, capacity as specified on the license is being maintained during today’s inspection. Facility is licensed for a Large Family Child Care license with a max capacity of 14 children. Licensee is complying with the capacity requirements for a Large Family Child Care Home
An exit interview was conducted, and report reviewed with Licensee Zhou. A copy of this report was provided.
To Licensee. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
