32 | During today's visit, the facility is made up of three (3) classrooms; Yellow Classroom, no children or staff present, Red Classroom, ages 4-5 years with 2 staff, and Green Classroom, ages 3-4 with 1 staff.
In completion of the annual inspection that took place on 05/30/2025, the following was observed at the facility.
When LPA and LPM observed the required posting in the entry way of the facility PUB269 Child Passenger Restraint System Poster was not posted.
During the inspection, LPA and LPM observed in the classrooms that the furniture, toys, and other equipment inspected were age appropriate and in good repair. There were individual cubbies available for children to store their personal items. Drinking water was available from filtered water and individual sippy cups labeled with each child’s name. Each child has access to a cot and bedding to nap. The restrooms were inspected and were stocked with supplies, sanitary, and in good repair.
LPA and LPM observed that children were being moved into and out of classrooms. LPA requested Sign in and sign out sheets from Lena Asatryan and were not readily available upon request.
There is telephone service, heating, lighting and ventilation were evaluated for safety and comfort.
LPA observed a first aid kits located in each classroom and inventoried for necessary supplies. LPA observed a device in each classroom, per FR it is a carbon monoxide detector. LPA observed smoke detector via fire alarm. Disaster drill log was not available, and Lena Asatryan was not able to provide the date of the last disaster drill conducted. Per FR, isolation area for sick children is in the office. Hazardous items including poisonous cleaning compounds were stored inaccessible to children. LPA observed cleaning solutions stored on a high shelf.
LPA did observe the kitchen area/ food preparation area, per FR meals and snacks are provided by the facility.
LPA and LPM toured the outdoor play area and observed that the outdoor play area was set up with two (2) portable merry go rounds and were monitored by two (2) third party vendor employees as identified by Lena Asatryan. The other playground equipment was in safe condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts, in good repair, and appropriate for the ages of the children.
