25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elicia Calvillo conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection to the above facility on 03/14/2024. LPA arrived at the facility at 08:49AM, identified self and met with Nune Poghosyan, Licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 1 child and 1 adult upon arrival. Per Licensee, operation hours are 08:00AM to 06:00PM. There are 4 children that are currently enrolled.
During the previous visit on 03/04/2024 for a 3 Year Annual and Capacity Increase, LPA observed the following. Per Licensee, a child proof gate will be installed to block the entrance to the Kitchen which is not accessible to children in care. LPA observed a child gate has been installed. A firearm is inaccessible to children in care as it is stored in a locked box then placed in an additional locked storage and if ammunition is present per Licensee it will be stored separate from the firearm locked box. There is a mesh with metal stakes fenced pool; the fence is in good repair and completely surrounds the pool, is designed and installed so children could not remove any portion of it. LPA measured the fence and is five feet high, constructed so that it does not obscure the pool from view, is not easily climbable by children. LPA observed the gate swings away from the pool, self-closes and self-latching device is located on the top of the gate and is pulled upward to unlatch. There is a dining room window with direct access to the pool with outside bars, the dining room is not accessible to children during child care hours.
Exit interview conducted, report and appeal rights was reviewed with the licensee Nune Poghosyan. |
