25 | On 7/14/2023, Licensing Program Analyst(s) Jillinda Chandler and Sarah Garcia conducted a case management visit for the purpose of a capacity increase. LPA(S) met with Stephanie Becker and assistant Mariamawit Fantaye Lemma. LPA(S) observed 5 children in care.
The single family home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom and Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU). The ON LIMITS area include living room, bathroom #1, bedroom #1, outdoor play area including patio area, and the ADU. The OFF LIMITS areas include the kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, garage, and shed.
LPA (s) inspected bedroom #1 and observed cots for sleeping. The living room and kitchen were inspected during the visit. Living room is clean and orderly. LPA (s) inspected garage and shed and observed safety locks ensuring children are inaccessible. LPA (s) inspected the bathroom #1 and observed no hazards and running water. The ADU is used for play and daily activities. The ADU has electricity, water, charged fire extinguisher (2-A:10-B:C), and a first aid kit. LPA(s) observed the outdoor play area.The outdoor play area consists of a garden and play equipment. Outdoor area will be under supervision at all times. The outside play area is gated. The outdoor area is observed to be clean, safe, and free from loose or sharp objects.
Licensee presented The Los Angeles County Certificate of Occupancy for the ADU.
Increase is pending fire department comments. STD 850 is cleared but facility sketch stamped "DISAPPROVED" and "SUBJECT TO FIELD INSPECTION." |
