INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE
Fire extinguishers were 3A40BC, that were last inspected on 9/9/2022.
Carbon monoxide detectors were observed in each classroom
First aid kits were available with the required essentials: scissors, bandages, tweezers, and thermometer, as well as earthquake emergency kits
The rooms were clean in good repair, room 3 will be used for the infant’s indoor activity area.
Age appropriate furniture and equipment was observed in good repair, carpets and surfaces were clean and free from any hazardous conditions. LPA observed toys that promoted; Auditory stimulation, Visual stimulation, Tactile stimulation, and Manipulative skills was observed.
Room 4 will be used as a separate napping room for the infants, LPA observed 10 pack and play cribs and 2 newborn rocker bassinets for children that are unable to climb out of the crib. Cots for older infants were observed in good condition, the center will provide bedding. Applicant was advised to check with U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for recalled products and equipment. The napping room was not calculated in the infant indoor activity space capacity. |
