On 11/5/2024 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA)s Judy Laureano and Brittany Lovest conducted an unannounced complaint investigation to deliver findings regarding the above-mentioned allegation.

LPAs toured the home inside and outside and observed 10 children and K. Pina and Angela Pina providing care and supervision. LPAs did not observe any other adult in the home.

LPA Laureano confirmed via Guardian Roster that all adults living in the home and/or have access to the home have a clear criminal background clearance.

On 8/22/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Judy Laureano conducted an unannounced complaint investigation regarding the above allegation. LPA arrived at above mentioned facility and met with Angela Pina, Licensee. LPA toured the home inside and outside. LPA observed licensee with 6 children outside in the yard.

LPAs requested and reviewed children’s file and staff files and interview with Licensee was initiated.

On 11/5/2024 LPAs concluded interviews with staff, K. Pina, and attempted to interview children present.

Based on LPA Laureano’s observation, interviews with staff, parents and children and document review, no information was disclosed that an uncleared adult is caring and supervising day care children. There is not enough information to prove or disprove the allegations did occur. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove or disprove that the above allegation did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegation is found to be unsubstantiated.

An exit interview was conducted Licensee, Angela Pina and a copy report was provided.
