25 | On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hanna Cha met with licensee Belem Garcia. The purpose of the visit was to conduct an unannounced Annual/Random inspection of the facility. Upon arrival, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection to the licensee. LPA and licensee toured the facility. During the inspection, LPA observed licensee and two assistants providing care and supervision to one infant and six preschool-aged children. The current days and hours of operation are Mondays through Fridays for 23 hours/7 days a week depending on family needs. LPA informed licensee that licensee must stay awake when children are awake.
Physical Plant/Indoor/Childcare Area: This is a one-story family home with a living room, dining room, kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry room, playroom, and a backyard. Main care is provided in the playroom and living room of the main home, referred to as the childcare area. Room #1 and #2 are utilized for napping. Licensee provides children with cots and playpens/cribs for infants when children are napping. The off-limits areas are bedroom #3 and #4 (child safety doorknob), one bathroom, laundry room, and kitchen (child safety gate observed).
Childcare Bathroom: The childcare bathroom (located down the hall in main home) was observed to be in safe and operating condition. Toilet and faucet are in good operable condition. LPA reminded licensee to keep shampoos, mouthwash, razors, toothpaste, and other hazardous items inaccessible to all children.
Kitchen: The kitchen (located in main home past living room) was observed for safety, sanitation, and good repair.
