32 | Bathroom: Children use the restroom located through the hallway of the first floor. LPA observed toilet and faucet to be clean and operable. No hazardous materials or items were observed to be accessible in bathroom #1. LPA observed shampoos, soaps, and cleaning supplies under the sink with operable safety latch and inaccessible to children in care. LPA reminded licensee the children's bathroom must be free of accessible shampoos, mouthwash, medication, perfumes, razor, air freshener, nail polish and polish remover.
Kitchen: The kitchen is off limits to children in care. Sharp utensils are stored in an off limits area and inaccessible to children in care. The home has a clean and fully stocked refrigerator/freezer. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner are provided. Licensee stated she is participant in a food program.
Outdoor: The backyard was free of garden tools, poisonous plants, thorn trees, cactus, or lawn mower inaccessible to children. LPA Tamayo conducted a walk through of the backyard and confirmed that there are no bodies of water on the premises. There is a basketball hoop that is currently put away. The play area is clean, free of debris, and fully enclosed with a wooden fence and gate. LPA observed white and grey granite block cement along the back edge of the yard, near the hillside. The wooden fence on the right side of the yard has also been renovated. According to the licensee, there is now a new swing set for outdoor use, as well as a play equipment slide. LPA observed the play equipment was in safe and operable condition. The backyard includes grass and cemented space for active play. There are no pets on the premises.
Pools/Spas/Bodies of Water: There are no pools, spas, or bodies of water in the home.
Advisory/Other: First Aid kit was observed in near the entrance with supplies readily available. Licensee’s First Aid/CPR certification expires on 09/15/2026. Mandated reporter training for licensees expires on 03/24/2027. LPA reminded licensee mandated reporter training and CPR must be completed every 2 years. Per Licensee, there are no guns, weapons, or firearms in the home. Per Licensee, there is no smoking in the home. Last fire/disaster drill was completed on 01/12/2026 and 02/01/2026.
Licensee’s annual fees are current. LPA observed all required facility postings on premises. Licensee had the following required posted documents: Notice of Parent's Rights Poster (PUB 394), Facility License (LIC 203) and Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610A), Earthquake Preparedness Checklist (LIC 9148) and Fire/Disaster Log.
