25 | This is an Amended report to update the requirement of a minimum of 2 inches above the ground gate for the swimming pool. The swimming pool fences from the bottom left side of the gate is 4 inches above the ground and meets Title 22 Regulation requirements for follow up Pre-Licensing on 06/16/2021; Amended on 06/21/2021 by LPA Monique Ayala.
On June 16, 2021 at 3:00PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Mariela Ramon conducted a follow up Prelicensing Inspection for Majuan Family Child Care Home. LPA and LPM met with applicant Maidelin Majuan, who guided the LPA and LPM on a tour of the home. All adults residing in the home are fingerprint cleared and associated to the facility.
During the pre-licensing inspection conducted on 06/12/2021, the following corrections were required:
- Operable Carbon Monoxide Detector
- Obtain a Fire extinguisher (2A10BC)
- Swimming Pool must meet Title 22 Regulations, swimming pool gate did not self close and self latch.
During today's inspection the following corrections were observed:
- Applicant obtained operable Carbon Monoxide Detector
- Applicant obtained a Fire extinguisher (2A10BC)
- LPA and LPM observed the swimming pool gate open away from the body of water and it self-latches and self-closes.
During this follow up pre-licensing inspection, LPA and LPM observed the swimming pool gate located on the left side of the pool has a step reducing the height of the gate to 4 feet. The fence is 4 inches above the ground which is surrounded by cement and meets Title 22 Regulations. Applicant stated she will increase the height of the gate to measure 5 feet in height. Applicant stated the gate will be ready for inspection in 2 weeks.
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was read was provided to applicant on 06/16/2021. |
