25 | On Friday, October 3, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Evelyn Garcia conducted a unannounced annual inspection with licensee Ruzanna Yeghikyan and Dayana Hovhannisyan, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility and provide care and supervision to the children. This is a one-story home with 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, laundry room, and kitchen. The adults residing in the home are licensee, licensee’s daughter-in-law, 2 minor children. All adults living in the home are finger printed and cleared. The facility will operate Monday through Friday, providing care from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. The facility is licensed for 14 children and currently have 2 school-aged children enrolled and were arrived during inspection. There are no pools or bodies of water in the home.
Main care is provided on in the living room and bedroom. Children eat in the dinning area. The day care children utilize the bathroom accessible through the hallway on the right side of the home. Children use the backyard for outdoor play. Bedrooms #2 and #3 will be off limits, bathroom #2 located in the bedroom, and front yard are off limits to children in care.
LPA observed day care area to be clean and orderly, central air and heating, age-appropriate toys and play equipment, working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are in operable condition.
LPA reminded licensee the children's bathroom must be free of shampoos, mouthwash, medication, perfumes, razor, air freshener, nail polish and polish remover. LPA observed a clean, safe and operable toilet and faucet. LPA observed the cabinet in the bathroom to have a child safety latch and cosmetics stored within.
LPA observed a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher during the inspection located in the hallway on the right dated 3/28/25 for inspection. First aid kit is located in the kitchen. Per licensee, medications are stored in the hallway closet in a storage container.
