1. Personal Rights - Licensee's conduct poses a risk to day care children. Licensee #2 use inappropriate discipline/behavior with child
2. Licensee #1 pushed former daycare child to the pavement.
3. Licensees are not providing snacks in the afternoon.
4. Licensee #1 uses inappropriate language to children
5. Licenses have left children in the car and in the garage as a form of discipline.
6. Licensees #1 and #2 forced children to walk in 95-degree weather even after the children expressed their unwillingness to do so.
7. Criminal Record Clearance – The Licensee’s assistant works without a criminal record clearance at the facility.
8.The licensee’s daughter requested money from children to purchase marijuana.
9. The licensee's minor has been left to care 5 to 6 toddlers.
10. The licenses discuss concerns in Spanish about children in front of the dycare children.

On 1/23/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Carol Heath conducted a follow-up complaint inspection of the Lomeli Family Childcare home and met with the licensees, Denise and Heriberto Lomeli. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver the findings for the above complaint allegations. During today's visit there are 5 children with licensees (Ages: 4, 2, 2, 1 and 1 years old). 2 childcare children and 3 licensee's children.

During the investigation of this complaint, LPA Heath interviewed the licensee and other related parties. The interviews revealed inconsistencies in the explanations for the incident in the facility.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is no preponderance of the evidence to prove that situations occurred in the facility; therefore, the above allegations are unsubstantiated.

No deficiencies were cited.
An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the licensees, Denise and Heriberto Lomeli.
