Personal Rights - Staff are not following day care child's court order for pick up.

On 06/25/2024 at 12:00PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrew Alemoh met with Director Anglee Oster for the purpose to deliver the finding of the above allegation. Upon arrival, LPA observed 59 children and 12 staff along with the Director and assistant director on site. The investigation consisted of interviews with Director, staff, parents, and other complaint relevant parties.

The investigation revealed the following: the facility is following the day care child court orders. Primary parent and co parent are allowed to pick up and or drop off the daycare child at the above facility, along with canceling and rescheduling parenting times. Parents communicate through an app regarding cancelation and or rescheduling parenting times. Sign in/out sheets were reviewed. Parenting times are set in accordance to the court order documents however the primary parent is allowed to cancel on any day and reschedule with the co parent on another day.

Director, and staff statements corroborated with evidence in that the facility is following the courts orders by releasing the day care child to the parents at the appropriate times issued in the court order documents.

Based on the evidence obtained, the allegation of staff are not following day care child’s court order for pick up is unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violations did or did not occur.

An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report was provided along with the appeal rights.
