On 12/03/2025, LPA Hanna Cha met with Site Supervisor Jardi Solares to deliver the findings regarding the above allegations. Upon arrival, LPA Cha observed two teachers and five teacher assistants providing care and supervision to 14 infants.

The investigation included a review of records, observations, and interviews with staff members and parents.

Regarding the allegation that the parent of Child #1 (C1) was not notified of C1 being ill, interviews conducted revealed that C1 did not show any signs of illness throughout the day. Parents and staff reported that when infants do show signs of illness, parents are contacted and a designated staff member stays with the infant in a separate area to protect the health of other infants. LPA Cha also observed daily health check charts posted at the entrance and used by staff to assess children’s health.

Regarding the allegation that staff did not isolate C1 when sick, interviews produced consistent statements about the facility’s isolation procedures. LPA Cha observed that the facility operates in one open space divided by child safety gates. Sick infants are provided a designated area, supervised by staff until parents arrive for pick-up.

Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the above allegations are the result of a personal rights violation. Therefore, the allegations are unsubstantiated.

A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
