On Thursday, August 28, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Braddock conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to deliver findings regarding the above-referenced allegations. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director Chauncey Smith and conducted a tour of the facility. Later on, Assistant Director Nicole Medina joined the inspection At the time of the visit, there were 5 Children present with 4 staff members.

As part of the investigation, LPA conducted confidential interviews, reviewed facility records, and toured the premises. The following allegations were investigated:

1. Staff engaged in a verbal altercation in front of children in care.
2. Staff failed to prevent inappropriate interactions between daycare children.
3. Staff did not report a child's injuries to the parent or authorized representative.

Based on the information obtained through interviews, record reviews, and observations, it could not be determined whether the above allegations occurred as reported.

Based on information obtained, and LPA observations the above allegations are deemed Unsubstantiated. An Unsubstantiated finding means, the above allegations may have happened or are valid, but there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove or disprove that the alleged violations occurred.

This inspection was conducted in person. LPA read the report with Assistant Director, Nicole Medina and provided a copy of the report, Appeal Rights, and a Notice of Site Visit was given and must be posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted.
