25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility on 04/15/26 at 02:07 p.m. At approx. 02:12 p.m., LPA met with licensee Elifalet Gutierrez who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 08 children present in the home; however, children not present are school age children and their schedules vary. Also present was assistant (A1). According to the licensee, 12 children are enrolled. Operation hours are Monday – Friday 05:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m. Per licensee Elifalet, licensee Maria Gutierrez will be away from home for a week.
This is a one-story home which consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, den, family room, kitchen, front yard (fenced), garage, and backyard (fenced). According to the licensee, children use the living room (walkthrough), den, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, family room, and back yard. Family members residing in the home are 2 adults and 0 minors. According to the licensee, there are 3 cats on the premises.
LPA toured all areas identified on the facility sketch used by children during this visit and were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Tour began in the living room where LPA observed furniture and a dining room table with chairs. Children only walk through the living room to access the den, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, family room, and backyard. There is a well mounted child proof gate between the living room and den and is kept closed at all times. LPA toured the den and observed children napping on cots. Adjacent to the den there is 1 bedroom that is used during nap time, and the door is kept open. LPA observed 1 infant napping in a crib inside the bedroom while the door was open. There is a changing table and a rocking chair in the bedroom. Tour continued to the family room where LPA observed age-appropriate toys and materials for children. The children’s bathroom is located between the family room and hallway. LPA toured the children’s bathroom and observed it safe and in sanitary conditions.
